Vor nunmehr 80 Jahren, am 27. Januar 1945 befreiten Soldaten der Roten Armee das KZ Auschwitz-Birkenau. Anl\u00e4sslich des internationalen Gedenktages f\u00fcr die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus nahmen die Sch\u00fcler*innen der Klassen 9b und 10b an der Gedenkfeier f\u00fcr die Opfer aus Obermenzing in der Kirche Leiden Christi<\/i> teil.<\/p>

Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung standen die pers\u00f6nlichen Geschichten der Opfer und \u00dcberlebenden des Holocaust, die von Sch\u00fcler*innen in Form von Lesungen vorgetragen wurden. Abschlie\u00dfend zitierte Danya (Klasse 10b) Martin Niem\u00f6llers ber\u00fchmte Worte:<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Als die Nazis die Kommunisten holten, habe ich geschwiegen, ich war ja kein Kommunist. Als sie die Sozialdemokraten einsperrten, habe ich geschwiegen, ich war ja kein Sozialdemokrat. Als sie die Gewerkschafter holten, habe ich geschwiegen, ich war ja kein Gewerkschafter. Als sie mich holten, gab es keinen mehr, der protestieren konnte. <\/i><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dabei mahnte sie, dass sich nie wieder ein solches Leid wiederholen d\u00fcrfe und \u201ewir uns gemeinsam aktiv gegen Rassismus und Antisemitismus einsetzen sollen, um f\u00fcr eine tolerante Gesellschaft einzutreten.\u201c Die Gedenkfeier war ein bedeutender Beitrag zur Aufkl\u00e4rung und Bewusstseinsbildung, der den Sch\u00fcler*innen die Notwendigkeit der Auseinandersetzung mit der Vergangenheit verdeutlichte.<\/p><\/div>
